Virginia Humphreys, I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I’ve been married 51 years; I have 2 grown sons and 5 grandchildren. Ages 23, 12, 9, 8 and 4. I grew up going to church, every time the doors were open for church services. My dad was the associate pastor. I knew all the Bible stories, knew about God and his son Jesus Christ. But I was never really taught about the character of God, or having a relationship with Him. I got married very young. Had my first child when I was 19. I raised both of my sons in the church too. I thought my life went pretty well. Typical two kid family. I also was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in the fire department. I worked on and ambulance as an EMT and I was the supervisor for 22 years. I’ve seen a lot in my life. Never really a writer.
